I sat down with @brandon-doyle (⁠ https://x.com/_BrandonDoyle_ ⁠) again, and this time we tried to build a money-making app in under an hour using Emergent, a new vibe coding tool. We let a random word generator decide our idea, landed on a lawn care quote generator, and then raced to see who could build the better version faster. I focused on the backend logic and real-time pricing, while Brandon went all in on clean design and live deployment. We ended up building two working web apps for about $10 each, both ready to launch instantly. We compared prompts, strategies, and credits used, and talked about how simple these AI tools make it to build real businesses fast.
