ChatGPT is blocking Claude Artifacts, which are being used to game AI Overviews and Perplexity.

When you click publish on an Artifact, Claude tells you “Publishing this Artifact will make it potentially visible in search engine results. “

I’m looking at a Claude Artifact about the WordPress plugin Schemawriter. Google's AI Overview cites it number one.

If I search this same thing in ChatGPT. ChatGPT doesn't mention Claude at all.

However, Perplexity has no problem mentioning Claude, it mentions it right away.

So people are using Claude Artifacts to very easily influence AI Overviews, Perplexity, but not ChatGPT.
